NIBE is best known for its heat pumps, but its ERS series ventilation units are often installed in the same house alongside a NIBE heating system — they belong to the same brand but operate independently. To identify the correct filter model, check the data plate on the ventilation unit itself, not on the heat pump.

NIBE ERS series units (10-400, 10-500, 20-250, 30-400, 30-600 and others) usually use a two-stage set:

• G4-class filter — on the extract air side, for larger particles
• F7-class filter — on the supply air side, for fine dust and pollen

Some models also offer an F7 filter with an activated carbon layer, which additionally absorbs odours. The filter compartment is accessed through the front cover, which often also covers the control panel.
